Please tell me I'm not the only person completely freaked out EXCITED for this movie!!!! Dylan O'Brien is my hands down favorite actor on television right now! ...lemme think about that statement for a second...YUP! Favorite, favorite, favorite!! And Will Poulter is kinda hilarious in We're The Millers and adorable in that old Narnia movie.  So yeah.  Can't wait for this one to hit theaters!!!

22 Jump Street (2014) ★★

I know this sequel is getting rave reviews, and trust me, I understand why, it's hilarious, but I kinda felt like it was the same plot regurgitated, retwisted, and recycled to make the exact same movie!  Two cop friends go back to school to infiltrate another drug system; make new friends, again; they inevitably grow apart; decide to separate, again; realize they're better together, what?! no way!; join up once more and ultimately catch the bad guys. And voila! We have a 21 Jump Street remake. Big whoop!

To give the movie credit, it's hilarious and yes, I would probably watch it again!  ...even if the only reason I would do so would be to watch Channing Tatum.  He's pretty hot.

Describing Words: funny, entertaining, a solid comedy

Who Should I Take?: your friends and their friends and more friends

Do I recommend this movie to you?: sure.  But there's no need to watch the 21 before the 22.  It's all pretty much the same.

Maleficent (2014) ★★★

Well, I don't watch cartoons, like, ever.  So, I only vaguely know the old story of Sleeping Beauty and thank goodness they came out with a real version!!

Angelina Jolie, who just so happens to also be my favorite person in the entire world, played her role of Maleficent absolutely magnificent! (Haha.  I had to! ...sorry)  The character was brave and strong and fierce, and her gentle edge peeped through enough to make you smile and love her.

I'm giving this movie a solid three stars, but seriously, come on Hollywood!  Did the "cute guy factory" just stop dishing them out or what??!  Geez!  I know Angelina is on a level all her own, but you've gotta get someone who's at least CLOSE on her looks scale or it's just pathetic.  I'm just sayin!

And Elle Fanning, sorry hun, but I wanted to wipe that stupid smile off her face the whole time!  "Look happy" and "look like a doll with a permanent smile painted on" are two completely different things!

Angelina Jolie. Stay just the way you are!! Perfectness.

Describing Words: a different look at a classic story, quirky, exceptional, enrapturing

Who Should I Take?: your babysitters club, your family and friends, your grandma, your cousin, your aunt

Do I recommend this movie to you?:  For. Sure.  This is going to be one of my favorites of 2014 and I know I'll be watching it again as soon as it comes out on iTunes!

The Fault In Our Stars (2014) ★★

Sometimes it hits you like a brick.  Other times, they let you down easy.  The Fault In Our Stars was presented in such a way, that if you weren't quite ready to cry, you could still enjoy a romantic, heartfelt movie.  It didn't delve deep into each of the character's different health issues, it instead focused on the bonds between these friends whether bonds of love or of friendship.

I feel like we all have that one friend who bawls at every slightly unfortunate moment and I made the mistake of asking this particular friend of mine to come watch the movie with me.  And, welp, she cried her little heart out on this one the whole time!

Describing Words: Sweet! ...sweet as in cute sweet, not like sweet as in sweeeeeet! (winky-wink), And we all know, sad.

Who Should I Take?: all your girlfriends, or maybe your mom.  But for pete's sake!  Leave the little six year-old at home so when the scene comes you don't have to take him awkwardly out of the theater!!! Thanks and thanks.

Do I recommend this movie to you?: Yes I do.
